How long does it take to fully charge an electric bus?
It depends on battery size and charger power (Time=Capacity/Power). A standard 300kWh transit bus using our ultra-fast 360kW DC Split System can achieve an 80% charge in under 50 minutes. Conversely, overnight trickle charging using less power can safely span 6-8 hours while the bus is out of service.
We want to electrify 30 buses, but our local grid cannot support the power. What can we do?
You have two options. First, our Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB) sequentially schedules the buses, ensuring they don’t all draw maximum power simultaneously. If the grid is still insufficient, we can deploy a PV-ESS Microgrid (Solar + Battery Storage) at your depot to act as a localized power buffer, completely bypassing the need for a multi-million-dollar utility grid upgrade.
Can your chargers communicate automatically with the buses without the driver using an App?
